Until I’m senile, I’ll never have the opportunity a gain to see Princess Bride for the first time. Thus, reading through this thread is a delight.

Such a fantastic film. As someone in the thread points out, between Princess Bride and Monty Python and the Holy Grail there’s a quote for anything.

I teach first graders that have seen this film and reference it in class.

Only a couple films that everyone has seen. Princess Bride, Star Wars whatever, and Mean Girls.

There are so many people I’ve met and know that have never seen this! It blows my mind! I tell them it’s one of the best ever and they get this weird look on their faces like they’re judging  the movie entirely on the title!
